A cannabis factory containing about 300 plants with an estimated street value of about £200,000 has been discovered in Powys.
Police found the plants being grown in a commercial production at a house in Sennybridge on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and is in custody at Brecon.
Dyfed-Powys Police said a detailed forensic examination has been carried out. Western Power has also made safe the electricity supply to the house.
Ch Insp Martin Tavener said: "I appeal to the public in the Sennybridge area to come forward with information."
'Comings and goings'
He said similar properties may be being rented and used for cannabis production.
He said: "Cannabis factories can emit a strong and unusual smell.
"Persons living locally may also see people coming and going with bags and other equipment such as powerful lights.
"It is likely curtains will be kept closed, but bright lights may appear to be left on around the clock. Residents living in the street are again likely to see various comings and goings.
"I would also particularly like to appeal to landlords to be aware of what to look for. If the tenant always pays in cash and does not allow you access to the property then let us check it out," he added.
