Nurses hold rallies across the U.S.A on Sept. 1.

Hundreds of nurses and community members handed out bagged lunches to the hungry and held an “Economy is Giving Us the Blues” concert. This was one of 60 events happening in 21 states across the country. Nurses asked members of Congress to pledge their support for a Wall Street Transaction Tax.
