Afghanistan Working Group
UFPJ calls for the U.S. to immediately end the Afghanistan/Pakistan War, bring all troops home, stop employing security contractors, close military bases, and stop drone strikes.
The Afghanistan Working Group connects activists and organizers in UFPJ member groups who are working to end the Afghanistan/Pakistan War. We develop materials to help organize against the war. Members are connected by a listserv (ufpj-afghanistan@lists.mayfirst.org) allowing them to exchange information and updates and discuss plans.
The Working Group holds periodic conference calls allowing its members to exchange information and updates. It also holds occasional briefing calls with invited speakers. The Working Group may endorse nationally significant actions and projects initiated by member groups. It writes e-blasts asking for actions to the UFPJ supporters’ email list.
The Working Group’s coordinator is Cole Harrison, cole@masspeaceaction.org.
The object of this blog began as a display of a varied amount of writings, scribblings and rantings that can be easily analysed by technology today to present the users with a clearer picture of the state of their minds, based on tests run on their input and their uses of the technology we are advocating with www.projectbrainsaver.com
