Kim McNamara via Occupy Australia The UN has found Australia guilty of almost 150 violations of international law over the indefinite detention of 46 refugees. This is the result of a 2 year investigation and is the largest UN complaint ever upheld against Australia. The federal government has been ordered to release the refugees, who have been in detention for more than four years, and to provide them with rehabilitation and compensation.
