Prismatic semblance of some truth dark convenor of some proof that man is made to stand alone. This body, this bloodied bone, this tissue that sports, at best, far-off transcendence like the rest of humans tide.
Alone? Separate from the crowd help usher dreams and thoughts aloud. Find the strangers bed within and still the ever present din, calm this bath of noise, this fearsome tidal reach of screams, the howling hell's of conflict play.
No gods or GODS. No triumphant whole release. no dismissal of this madness. Inchoate, incipient. Babbling epileptic fits of mental confrontation- the child and the adult vie for this man's domination.
Image via WikipediaThe build up of today’s unknowns could lead to a cull of the human race that will have to happen because there is no other way for the rest of the human race to survive.
We live in a world where freedom and new tomorrows lead us by the nose towards pastures that might be new but could also be mined.
Half a million young people take ecstasy each weekend. Ecstasy in its own right could cause forms of mental instability that are the monsters of our nightmares. What passes for ecstasy, strange concoctions of multiple chemicals could cause damage that makes ecstasy effects a summer breeze in comparison.
Mobile phones are miniature microwave devices which have to be constantly on in order to receive. When in use they are held to the ear, right next door to the most sensitive instrument that mankind knows- the brain.
It is already known that damage is done to lab rats, double the numbers of cancers when put next to a switched on mobile phone compared to the non yuppie rats who are safer incommunicado.
Add this to the many other sources of radiation, drugs and other possibles we have not noticed yet and we could be seeing a future where mental instability a la Mad Max could see the end of our civilisation as it crumbles under the weight of the social cost of caring for so many potential victims of today’s “maybe ok’s”
Or if they are they are in limited supply when lots of people want the same thing.
So money is there to enable the well off to get those few things for themselves rather than lose out to the others who want these things but don’t have the money.
If you build a system that runs on money it means that commodities that are scarce go up in ‘value’ where as commodities that are plentiful or in over supply lose ‘value’.
Capitalising on commodities, whether these are necessities such as food and water, or items of social value like jewellery or speciality things like art, has a good side in that it allows for the skills of mankind to have an overall beneficial drive towards a better and more fruitful society – that is if you believe that without tools like capitalism the world’s population would remain ignorant savages...
It has a downside in that it devalues too many things too often to allow for a complete system to be in place that works for everyone under its aegis.
It does look as if one power group has build this system in order to maintain control over all the ‘things’ that group needs to the exclusion of a large proportion of the rest of the World’s benefit.
… and the truth is that is exactly what has happened… and is still happening.
The realities of the structure are being changed but the power still remains in the hands of the few over the many.
Non violent pressure from massed groups of people will change the way things are done but only if those people are willing to carry on the social structure that works whilst throwing away that which doesn’t. This way of changing society usually takes far longer than other direct methods because there is usually very little effect on those in power, mainly because whilst they have what they want they find it easy to ignore words – no matter how loud they are. Direct peaceful action which disrupts the economics of a country does tend to have a better effect but getting a country full of people to move their asses is hard work, especially if many of that country’s people are content with their lot… especially when they view what they have in comparison to many countries not to far from their backyards.
If that country is tightly controlled by the economic set up, the plutocracy is a long standing system, bureaucracy is a group of people who stand between the plutocracy and those without – or are those who want the changes to come now but still rely on money as a core belief which allows control to be maintained by the plutocracy – then people are malleable… social causes get their ‘dander’ up but real fighting for life is something best left to the professionals… besides which society is trying to make people mellow so that there is less friction … better to send an angry letter.
It seems that only by enacting a complete breakdown of society can any major changes take place otherwise most people are content because ‘now’ always seems better than ‘before’ – all the more so if the country they live in is one where power has had to be struggled and fought for by one group over another for years.
So, over years and centuries a system is built that is an interlocking set of ways that doesn’t allow for a complete breakdown except in the most violent or repressed of incidences.
Yet this system is completely controllable. There need never be a class who have nothing. Never need there be people who die from lack of something that is in supply. Never again those with whilst others die because they don’t have the money to buy what’s needed.
Imagine calming down the human race whilst turning them on to the joys of being a human being on planet Earth.
A dream.
One of those idealistic futures of mankind where it all works out because it can.
We are starting to see the global meaning of cooperation. Of clarity of word and deed. Of honesty of trading and of purpose.
The equipment and desire is already there regarding a system rebuild – a service pack for Life I. A set of patches that work to update what we have now, the setup of which is inadequate to all our needs, that sorts out thewrinkles made from old material. Don’t throw away everything just because part of the man made operating system of life doesn’t work. But do sort out the bits that don’t work.
It’s likely to happen though – throwing all of it away in order to remove the, perceived or even real, shackles. Using in-depth profiling tools for each person can only go so far in giving them what keeps them quiet. Situations can be controlled by media output but only if the media wants to, or are forced to, be part of the mechanism for control – and only if the population allows it through compromised standards, apathy or lack of knowledge of their true rights as defined by the majority of other humans on this planet.
One day has to be planned for. The day of crossover where those ‘with’ cannot keep hold any more. Or where they have to share on an equal footing with rest of mankind… or will the man ‘with’ buy the power to give him ‘all’ whilst everyone else goes without?
No. because it always goes pop, like an erupting spot, except it’s the real lives of, sometimes, millions of people. Let alone the animals and flora that get roasted because the system is inadequate and antiquated. Are the Chinese going to decide that they deserve everything? Are the Americans? The Russians? The Israeli’s? The Europeans?
Or is it really true what The World Bank and others say? Does everyone want freedom and prosperity for every single person? They seem to be saying that’s what they want. Darvo. Non stop talking about trying to get to this point in time.
But, as ‘they’ say ‘slowly slowly catch a monkey’ and, even, ‘don’t rock the boat’.
Do you feel capable because you know what you know? Are your skills worth having?
Are you glad that you are one of the few people who can make a specific item or one of the few who know so much about a particular subject?
Do you love your home or your land and see each as a living entity with history and a future?
Does your Art fulfill you yet leave you questing for more?
Are you satisfied with a lot of your life?
Do you really know how lucky you are?
Has the fact that we are the only life of our kind for light-years around here really made you stop, think and understand the awe inspiring nature of that fact?
Now …
… go and count your worth.
First of all. How are you doing this? What tools or add on are you using? Is your first step to be towards a work of great learning or towards a calculator?
Which counts for the most in your head? Which counts for the most in the reality you are surrounded by? Your every day life.
If you removed money from your life and from those around you would you all survive in the world of today?
If your spiritual life can sustain your earthly body then you are a lucky human being. If you need money in order to live then chances are that you live under some form of control that means your spiritual world is limited by your daily need to sustain life and soul through dint of labouring or through the receiving of charity.
So…
Jumping back to the beginning. If you are pleased, proud or contented with what you know and where you are then you should be able to pin a fairly good score to the doors of the spiritual growth path of life.
And that’s quite a lot of people in this world, from all walks of life, who are happy to be alive.
So, it should be possible to make a few alterations to some of the core basics of this artificial system that mankind has built that should help the rest of the human population, whoever needs it, to sort out their struggles and build something that has the qualities they desire in the space they live in.
Times of plenty are usually times of deliciously full living. Even if that is the ability to stare into space without a care in the world – other than those of every day living – the cares that society imposes as part of its feeding rituals long gone.
For the first time in the growth of the civilisation called humanity we have the tools to progress to the next step in our own social growth.
Controllable thanks to the internet, computers (of course) and the many systems worldwide who now use digital communications and data as part of their cores.
And thanks as well to the tons upon tons of history that is now being collected and digitised for all to study and ponder upon.
With a bit of judicious tinkering it would be quite possible to rebuild the financial roll of this society into one based on the losses of any negatives regarding money.
Taking the core principle of the Local Exchange Trading System model – that money is created where and when it is needed – money suddenly becomes as available as air.
What doesn’t happen is that everything shoots up in price or that businesses collapse or that suddenly, because they have endless amounts of money people start forcibly buying anything they set their eyes on.
The capitalist/ money system already built into this world along with the governing systems with all their laws, rules and regulations will stop this happening.
Money is an invention – or more truthfully it is a token system used to facilitate trade and, now, living as well.
These tokens have assumed far too great an importance. Their lack can mean the difference between life and death.
It is very obviously not the tokens themselves that are at fault. It seems to be the fact that mankind has decided that these tokens only grow at their own rate and are linked to prices of scarce metals.
Rather than seeing this world and its systems as capable of working without the pressure of a token system that has got too powerful for its own boots – we tend to see that without money we are stuffed.
Which, in this day and age, is just plain stupid. But true.
If the top end of our social structures had little or no tokens then we could be justifiable if we altered the system to one that worked. Why is it that we are not justifiable in changing it when those at the top have but those down at the bottom struggle and even die through lack of buying power.
It can be changed and that change need not be as destructive as past attempts have been. Those 'with' need not lose what they have. Those who have never ‘had’ will be able to finally build lives that are as fulfilling as those lives of people ‘with’.
You never get anything unless you are a fighter. Fighters are prized goods in this world, on this planet. Fighters can fight with you, for you or even just protect you.
If you are not a fighter then you’d better have a useful purpose. Non fighters are the people who still have to have the belief of the fighting system in them. They are the ones who load the guns or care for the wounded or rebuild the cities destroyed by the fighting.
Suppose you are dying. Because you want to. Are you someone who isn’t fighting?
Maybe though you are dying when it’s the last thing you would want to do. Ever.
Then you fight. If you can. If you know how to.
But if you’re not given the tools to do the job then even if you are doing your best the best just isn’t good enough.
Or if you are fighting something with no cure.
Or maybe you don’t believe in fighting. Anything.
Serenity and calm pervade your life. All is as the good books say it should be. Then a fighter comes along and takes your home, or your family or a friend.
Fighting has to have its own reasoning, different from ‘everyone and everything has a right to exist’ reasoning. In the case of wars enacted for odd reasons, Iraq for instance, add multimedia interfaces, ipods, helicopter gunship music, M4’s, smart bombs,gung ho training, antiquated religious feuds and the reasons for using the fighting side of the human spirit in this particular conflict become confused.
Like trapping a wild animal in a small cage, mankind hates oppression of any kind. It destroys part of its growing. Fighting to oppress takes far less energy in the first stages unless that fighter is up against another fighter of equal skill. Any gentle person can be subdued fairly readily most of the time by someone who wants a real to the death fight. However, societies with spirit and relative freedom tend to be able to unhappily but very seriously fight to the death for a belief or cause of national or global standing (WWII).
We can’t keep limiting the budget on this planet to what sums can produce when mixed with human input and output.
… but if we decide that each of us is unique as is every plant and animal then it seems to stand to reason that our output can be unique. That we each can experience different viewpoints of the same reality.
Then we join in with the holistic game that says that all is part of one. A whole entity made up of all of it. Anything could have an answer to something else. Machinery that can cope with seeing and understanding the whole. Benign Big Brother. No teeth for doing deliberate damage. A personal firewall for everything on the planet. Personal profiles and rights lists built in. Spot the countries that breach the human rights act. But also join in with using the new amounts of data that flow from the New Hyper Capitalist System. Clarifying data. Focussing data. Valuable data.
Nothing loses its value with the new system. Everything gains a value. No one loses anything. What you have is what you have.

When you build a society and define a process that acts as a control and as a cover for acts of human failing such as self obsession, greed, cruelty, over the top pride in one’s own importance, arrogance and the like then you build something that can never be sorted out properly until that control process is altered or removed.
Capitalism has such a thing. It’s called money. With it being in control of so much as it is at the moment it is very unlikely that poverty and death from lack of necessities is going to clear up at all, let alone in the time periods being touted as possible, whether this be the 2015 of the UN Millennium Declaration or the revision of 2165 put forward by those who had to respond to the Declarations requests.
Which means that people in their multiple millions upon millions are going to die unfulfilled lives during that time. Children are going to die in their millions upon millions without adding to this thing called the Human Race. Think how many Stephen Hawkings there are out their who will never say the first word of something that could alter society for the better, for ever.
Look around. Use the most powerful instruments you can. Count the other species of carbon based life forms on any of the bodies you can see out there in the rest of the Universe. So far I hear they have found none. Nothing for light years.
A flea is light years ahead of anything living out there within reach of our most powerful technology. The germs we kill in our kitchens every day are more together than anything we know is actually out there in the billions of square light years around us.
So, shouldn’t we suddenly learn, wholesale, that this whole planet, with everything on it, is a most amazing resource. As the surfers say ‘totally valuable’.
Which suddenly means that every living thing becomes invaluably valuable.
It also means that we need to start building on the moon and other planets ASAP!
Remember the huge machines of the Victorian era? Nuts and bolts as big as a horse? The super machines of the comic books? Why haven’t we built a spider legged monstrosity that can walk with computer controlled precision through houses or forests to deliver forest fire stopping capabilities or flood rescue facilities bar none?
Have you seen the true size of a super tanker or the full engineering extent of a valley spanning bridge? Why are there no such sized ‘weapons’ against pollution by plastic in the pacific basin or oil spill cleaning tools in the main oil delivery lanes of the highways of the seas?
… because human kind has intelligence.
… ……..?
What has big machines got to do with money and its way of locking the social structure?
The same lock on society is also a lock on capital projects.
The very capital projects that offer viable solutions to a single planet’s people, flora and fauna.
With the system in place today, with it’s locks built by monetary controls, economic theories, power structures seemingly solely based on amounts of cash available, it is no wonder that World problems of pollution, population, decreasing resources, etc., are being left to our future heirs to sort because the powers of today cannot have all they want if everyone gets as rich as they are overnight.
More to the point though is that pride and position over others cannot be maintained by money alone if the power of money is removed.
Imagine how many crimes would stop happening if everyone had enough money!
But it won’t stop whilst money is in short supply.
If you lock a system whereby, without money there are no goods or services, then that system cannot work… especially if that system is based on historical performance and artificial controls… controls that are often in the direct hands of people who have their own personal agenda’s… which often include large amounts of money - which have to be siphoned out of the system somewhere - creating a shortfall somewhere else.
At the moment world leaders are talking about taking about a hundred years or more to just break the boundaries of actual poverty. The Millennium Declaration Goals of the United Nations - many to be achieved by 2015 were shown to be totally inaccurate based on the actions of signatories to it in the few years after it was published.
Countries put their own people first and themselves first - it’s a human thing J
There is a way of rebuilding the way money is used so that it never gets in the way of creative living or even the simple necessities of human, animal or plant life - let alone the planetary needs of a group of fauna and flora and history like we are - we deserve to live and enjoy because we are unique and amazing - leaving the tools to do that job up to a set of old era based economic ways instead of building a new, working system for the modern era is not only criminal on any world scale but also wasteful and backward thinking.
How and when are we, the world, ever going to
Feed, clothe, educate and supply the world?
Get off world and colonise the planets?
Colonise the sea?
Make sure we don’t loose any more creatures or plants of this planet?
Capture for posterity everything that is happening from now on?
Save all world languages?
Sort out all the mental health problems directly attributable to living and working in a bad system
Let alone anything else each of us wants that we cannot do or have at this moment because of the severe restraints that money imposes - certainly in the UK if nowhere else (I can only talk about the UK because this is where I have spent most of my life).
If your life has allowed you a direct plug in to normal financial lifestyle tools then you will have credit, debt and work that pays just enough to keep you going whilst you build up a stock of money for retiring or speculating.
If you don’t live in this way then usually you live in debt with little or no money to add to a steadily increasing bank roll and no way to aim for anything other than drug and drink induced hilarity or sadness and anger.
If poverty was a lonely thing, suffered in silent, boxed in solitude then maybe poverty would only feel like a lack of a few things but, when confronted by multimedia presentations of how good life can be if you have money then poverty becomes unbearable - especially when you know that with money you would be alive and capable instead of barely just alive.
At the moment most world systems are run on the trickle down effect - huge sums fed in to a single person who then trickles it through his fingers down to the next people down the line who, in turn, trickle it through their fingers etc. The effect of this is to ensure that the top few get all that they want whilst making sure that those at the bottom get little or nothing because of the abstract concept of quantities… as each person lets some of their money go what they retain becomes less…. In a world of unknowns and costly prices for some of the simplest dreams you never know how much you might need in reserve - you never know when the next large dollop is going to land - so each of the tricklers withholds just a little bit more than they need and before you know it the bottom is coping with full drought whilst knowing, deep in their hearts, that money would solve their problems - would allow them to eat, to sleep safe, to grow and expand.
There is not enough money in the system at the moment to cope with any major new needs of the planet. There is not enough money now to cope with the needs of the poor. There is no more evidence than that needed. If something is dying somewhere because of something that money could buy then the system is failing.
But there does seem to be a way that keeps everything fairly balanced and doesn’t create waves except where waves need to happen… There are so many systems and sub systems running in this world at the moment that re styling money would only enhance what is happening - being designed to do exactly that - enhance.
Enhanced Capitalism - where money is only an accounting and performance tool - no longer a life or death tool. Where everything is capitalised when it has to be - Where each individual has a respected part to play in the whole, even if that part is not instantly apparent.
Each and every life is special and individual and important. Look around - it’s rare stuff - nothing as far as our life finders can see - light years and real years of time spent looking and no one yet.
So we have what we have. A whole ecosystem which we can learn to balance with but not while one lot of men are trying to kill off another lot of men.
Capitalism will always have its adversary because it is designed as an aggressive system - has had to be in order to gain ground - yet people don’t see that none of the money side is necessary in life at all - except maybe as a metering system with regards to the system as a whole. Money can be all of the things it is at present whilst being a readily available substance - like air… not like gold or diamonds or a Faberge egg.
This move effects quality of life in the profoundest of ways - Things change and they change fast. All the other systems and subsystems support the change - or are adapted to do so.
How does it work?
Take away the right of any country to starve any of its citizens of the currency of that country.
In five years time give everyone in the world an account with 1 in it.
Then add on 1,000 zero’s.
Between now and then start talking about what will happen… prices staying the same etc… actual and relative poverty explained….
Build lifelong learning tools into the account - and easy access to answers and desires, needs and even whims within reason and possibility…
Ask workers if they will stay on after five years or walk off … and sort other workers to take their places…
Sort out the ramifications of such a drastic change in world running… five years of talking and sorting…
Mankind's awakening from animal to man swept panic through each who found the inner mind. A new world disported itself for all to see and, suddenly, to try to understand. Such complexity. So many hidden cross references. A 'not so simple as it first appears' sort of world. From the avalanche and death to the reasoning behind the avalanche and death. Why? 'Intelligence' created this seemingly clean cut thought process and found harmonics and rational inter-relationships where only rocks, sea and sky had once been. The Why became a new-found maze, a head-space filling new-found maze of eternal puzzling. Every generation passed this puzzle to their kin. Each social cluster, each tribe, held answers to their breast and lorded this 'god' acquired knowing over those who had lesser knowings. The 'animal' was abruptly found to be anything that was not of this 'knowing' band of 'fellow' man.
Neanderthal. Homo Erectus. Homo Sapiens. As the thinking non-animals changed their ways, as millennia passed with differences shaping habits, skulls, stances, teeth, weapons, dwellings, clothing, dreams. So it was that man became this complexity of gods and rules, laws and emotions, professions and institutions, countries, cabbages and kings.
J. Edgar Hoover once said " If I wasn't a man who loved men more than gal's I might have run for President ". This one, fabricated, distorted, half truth- all garbage, sentence should show how far Modern Man has come from such simple beginnings. From the first 'why' - Why does my food always run faster than I do?- to a statement that contains personal comments about a private life of a dead man on a different continent which might be true but is false because there is no record, that is known, of him ever saying those exact words. Less than a tadger's worth of wordage and New Man shows the space that is wasted, the space that is free for fantasy and creative illusion, that is there in each thinker of now.
What space? There is no physical embodiment of this 'space'. Nowhere in the human body is there physical room for such realities. It is the mind and its synaptic flashings that can create so many differing 'truths'. The mind, the brain, grey matter weighing pounds that is accountable for the civilisations, the knowledge, the scientific foundations, society.
But. And, as they say, it's a big but. But what about modern man who is frightened of the actualities of being awake in this life? No simple journey from start to finish, no more the herd animal but a chooser of what's true. How frightened is the person who sees their own death, who wonders at the after death- is it a nothing? Is it harps and clouds? Is it going to be fire and Sulfur? The expanse of life between then and the present must be filled with many happenings, some good, some strange, some awful. How is the empty space to be filled? Luckily there is an answer. It is the answer of the one before and the one before that. Passed down by generations the gods, the traditions, the reactions to events are all presented in a user friendly package for those that need the filler to block the possibles and allow the 'realities' to remain.
As each of the awakened ones choose the truths of one society or another then the limitations of the 'possibles' occurs. Each clique faces its own realities with its own stock answers to those realities. For each tolerance that is built in there are many intolerance's that must be obeyed in order that the mind-stage remains untrammeled by the potential confusions of conflicts. However, the mind is a major playground and new thoughts, new indecisions will happen. It is now that the side-slip into creative construction begins. Creative construction. The ability to make up reasons for the intolerance's of the structured surround. Black people are made slaves because they are dirty, because they are dark like monkeys and must be as stupid. Alchohol is legal because it only damages already sick people. Capitalism is right because rich people are rich and happy- if a man is poor it is because he is not a good capitalist. God is real because it must have taken some form of thinking being to create a world such as this. Women are the lesser sex because they can't beat up their husbands. Good people can't be wrong or they would be in prison. Think of any option and there is a group who believes that this is so because of .... then think of any possible rationalism for this 'truth' and it is locked in place.
Aldous Huxley wrote of 'horizontal self-transcendence', Humanities need to be seen to grow as life goes on. The inability of the majority to reach upwards with their locked thoughts and patterns, the seeming uselessness of such a pathway in the face of daily bread gathering, leads to the possession of the inner space by any hobby, work, emotion, desire, creative activity- particularly if it means a fulfillment of earthly wants. The space must be part of a structured totality, after all, isn't it 'true' that Anarchy has to be equal to Nihilism? Co-operative structure must only be possible if blood is spilled and tracts of humanity are put to the saw? The tree of knowledge must be chopped to kindling and each new man must burn his bundle in his politically allotted grate? Destruction of all that is held dear must happen in order that this world eventually works as it is deemed right for it to do so?
Surely the space must be emptied of all that is within in order that the new 'true' reality can be inculcated?
As man-'Kinder' has fabricated the empires of this planet so it is that the best sites have been built upon with towering multi-aeon castles dedicated to the proof of each reality. No man of sane mind walks into the desert in search of water when the oasis is brimming. No intelligence wantonly destroys the perfected edifice in order to use its rubble for the foundations of another. Unless the new machination is merely a new-faced replacement sameness for the gap in the space of the man. Nature abhors a vacuum. Isn't it more likely to be that mankind is frightened of the empty chasm and thus we have to see a possible justification for the negative realities of today's structured whole? The opacity of the senses can be lessened, clarity of vision, of hearing, of speech can be attained- but at what cost? That fear we once felt as we staggered into the realities of the new mind and found the unfilled space? The terror of standing alone without the answers for comfort? It must be better to remain as we are than go through all that again.
So society moves in eddies. Any precipitous falls are filled with old reason. Any upward visions are collapsed by the downward drag of social inequality. This new man has been waiting to move forwards into a better future for decades now. And still we wait. As space-fillers fight space-fillers for precedence over the mass reality. When will we ever learn?
