As most of you probably saw, last night Basildon Council voted to spend £8 million (+ potentially £10 in policing costs). They have not served the 28 days notice of eviction, but they can now do so at any time. Originally they had threatened to serve notice right away, but it now seems that it will be at least several weeks before this happens to allow time for further negotiations.Please continue to invite your friends and promote and post the facebook pledge to spend a night at Dale Farm:
