--> iSpeech has launched DriveSafe.ly on iPhone, the first iOS app to speak text (SMS) messages, emails and Tweets aloud and allow for text responses by voice. The free app has been used by more than 8 million people and has spoken nearly 500 million messages to users.
iSpeech technology powers DriveSafe.ly and other apps with text-to-speech (TTS) and speech recognition (ASR). Once activated, it is possible to message via TTS and ASR without touching the phone. Once an incoming text message is read aloud, the user can choose to replay the message, speak a response back to the sender, or even call back the sender.
DriveSafe.ly is available for iPhone in the iTunes App Store, BlackBerry in the BlackBerry App World, and Android in the Android Market.
"DriveSafe.ly gives iPhone users a hands-free option for sending and receiving texts and helps to promote safe driving in the process," says Heath Ahrens, iSpeech CEO. "We're happy to use our speech technology in a way that helps people."
The object of this blog began as a display of a varied amount of writings, scribblings and rantings that can be easily analysed by technology today to present the users with a clearer picture of the state of their minds, based on tests run on their input and their uses of the technology we are advocating with www.projectbrainsaver.com
