A giant picture of a teenager is being projected in a Staffordshire town centre in a bid to help solve his disappearance.

Tyler Gardner, 18, from Lichfield, was last seen leaving the Manitoba nightclub in High Street, Burton upon Trent, at 00:35 GMT on 26 February.

He was due to stay in Burton with family but then headed home to Lichfield.

The 30ft image will be projected on to a Station Street building on Saturday.

'Extremely concerned'

Police will also be in the town centre and Lichfield city centre making inquiries.

Insp Darren Oakey, from East Staffordshire Local Policing Team, said: "Tyler has never been missing before and we are extremely concerned about his wellbeing.

"We are continuing with extensive CCTV inquiries in Burton and Lichfield and are keeping an open mind about the possibility Tyler could have made it back to Lichfield."

Mr Gardner has been described as white, 6ft tall, of slim build and has short blond hair. He was wearing a blue and white checked long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.
