Call on President Obama to Prioritize Apprehension of LRA Leadership

Dear President Obama,

On May 24, 2010 you signed the Lord’s Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act of 2009 into law which calls on your administration to develop a comprehensive, multilateral strategy to address the threat of this armed group in Central Africa. We thank you for supporting this important bill and call on you to ensure that the new policy that emerges as a result of this legislation prioritizes the apprehension of LRA leadership and the protection of civilians and brings the reign of the LRA to a permanent end.
