Take the Vow
Take the vow. So girls can say “no” to marriage
Noha is 14. She’s about to marry a man twice her age. And she’s just one of 10 million girls who’ll be married either too young, or against their will this year – some as young as five years old. This can end their chance of going to school and shorten their lives by leaving them more vulnerable to violence, HIV and death in childbirth.
About the vow
The more people who take Plan's Because I am a Girl campaign vow, the more likely it is that Lynne Featherstone - the MP leading the UK's efforts to end violence against women and girls - will take hers. And she's already supportive. But we want to encourage her to take the next step and sign up to Plan's six vows to end early and forced marriage.Take the vow to end early and forced marriage.
