What happens when someone wanders away?
Many people are prone to "wandering," such as Alzheimer's patients, people with various forms of dementia, small children, and even sleepwalkers. Some of these people cannot speak for themselves when found. They cannot tell authorities where they live, and they may not carry identification.
When a wanderer is found, what happens?
Police officers, firefighters and emergency service personnel generally must wait for the caregiver to notify authorities about the missing person before they can act. But the sooner your loved one can be identified, the sooner they can be returned to the safety of their home. But what if your loved one could be identified just by their face?
How does WanderID help?
If your loved one is enrolled in the Wander ID identity program, agencies like the police or EMS canhave instant access to emergency contact information for him or her, so they can be quickly returned to supervised care.
No special equipment is needed - any digital cameracan be used for registration. Police or other emergency personnel are not required to register for our services or pay any fees and can use the systemfor free at any time.
Back to how it works
The object of this blog began as a display of a varied amount of writings, scribblings and rantings that can be easily analysed by technology today to present the users with a clearer picture of the state of their minds, based on tests run on their input and their uses of the technology we are advocating with www.projectbrainsaver.com
