Wiltshire Police have uncovered a sophisticated Cannabis factory which was set up in a property on Old Blandford Road, Salisbury.

Reports were received regarding suspicious behaviour at the address and  a search warrant was granted and the house raided by Neighbourhood Tasking Group officers.

On entry the officers found approximately �500,000 worth of Cannabis plants. The property was kitted out with hydroponics equipment with plants at varying sizes. A total of 786 plants were recorded and seized.

Hoa Thi Hoang aged 21 years from Vietnam was arrested and charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis plants and has been remanded in custody to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court at a later date.

Detective Constable Dave Ridler said: �This cannabis factory has been closed down as a result of the due diligence of the local community and we encourage anyone who is aware of suspicious activity to contact police.�
