CITROEN GS CLUB 1220 | eBay UK - £4,050 so far!!! Beautiful car!

This lovely Citroen GS has been owned by me for the last 20 years and forms part of a collection of several Citroens that I have.

It was first registered on the 6th of June 1974 and was driven by it's owner for a couple of years until sadly he died.

His widow then took the car religiously once a year to be serviced and MOT'd and placed it back in the garage until her grandson passed his 17th birthday in 1991.

Mush as she thought this lovely car would make an ideal first car, her grandson wanted something a little more contemporary so I heard that this car was on the market and immediately bought it.

It was totally immaculate and being a stalwart member of the Citroen car club and Citroen Traction owners club, my wife and I took our new pride and joy to the National Rally where it won car of the show. It did the same the following year and again the following year so we stopped entering it to give other owners a chance.

It did however win the Silver Award at the Classic and Sportscar show in 1996 at the National Exibition Centre Birmingham.

Needless to say this car is rust free due to being rustproofed from new and permanently garaged in a warm garage when not in use.

It is quite possibly the best unrestored, right hand drive, Citroen GS in the world with the anodising on the door catches still bright and shiny and the edges of the panels as smooth as they were when they left the factory in 1974.

It has been driven regularly during the last 20 years although as we were keen not to run up the mileage too much only a few hundred miles a year which is the reason that it has only covered just over 25,000 miles during it's life.
